Lessons From A Toy and A Hammer

Videos such as this one are beneficial in learning. Short videos that convey stories help us visualize and translate values and lessons into examples that we can understand and emulate. This particular video shows a short interaction between a weak fragile toy (at least I think it is a toy) and a hammer.

Here are three (3) lessons we can learn from this video:

(1) When you are in pain or in trouble, know that you have the potential for self-healing or self-improvement. You are capable of overcoming the greatest of hardships, even though sometimes that might seem impossible or unimaginable at first.

(2) Everybody needs friends in this world. Among others, a friend can help you to point out things about yourself that you might be oblivious to - and yes, there are things about yourself that you are oblivious to. In this context, you might be unaware of certain potentials within yourself until it is pointed out to you. Find friends who can help you to achieve your potentials.

(3) No matter how weak or disadvantageous you may think you are, there are always ways through which you can help others. Stop comparing yourself to other people, and do good within your own capacity. A bird flies, a monkey climbs -- both achieve their purpose.
