It’s mouth-watering, really. The KL International Book Fair is back! It’s the event where there will be lots and lots of books on sale. It’s the grandest book fair in Malaysia; and it’s heaven for book lovers and enthusiasts from all over Malaysia. It’s a must-attend event. I wonder how much should I spent for this book fair? Definitely, there would be dozens of good books on sale; especially those ‘rare’ writings which you wouldn’t stumble upon just by browsing through MPH or Kinokuniya. I’m looking forward to look for books written by previous grand scholars of the Islamic world like Al-Ghazali or Ibnu Arabi. Or I might try to look around and add up on my collection of Prof. Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas’ books, most of those which are hardly re-published and re-printed anymore. Anyway, everyone, let’s gear up and feast our intellectual-selves during this KLIBF 2009!
