In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful. All praise be to Allah, Lord of the entire Universe. Peace and blessings be upon our beloved prophet, Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Abdullah; also to his dignified lineage and guided companions. May Allah gather us amongst the believers, and in THEIR presence, in the world eternal.
First of all, I’ll start with:
DAMN YOU SAM BECILE! – OR WHOEVER YOU ARE WHO’S USING THAT NAME TO PRODUCE THE INSULTING MOVIE OF ISLAM AND PROPHET MUHAMMAD! LEST YOU APOLOGIZE, REPENT AND ATONE FOR YOU WRONGDOINGS, MAY YOU ROT IN THE HELLS OF THIS WORLD AND IN THE HEREAFTER!
We Muslims have every right to be angry when Sam Becile (I think I’ll call him ‘the imbecile’) produced that short clip insulting, in the most uncivilised manner, our religion and our most beloved prophet, Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam. You can insult us, you can insult our attitude, you can insult the Muslims of today, but you can NEVER insult our Prophet and our religion! Yes, the words in capital above are the shouts of my heart, a sign of my angriness, and the angriness of Muslims around the world. This ‘angriness’ is a sign of our maturity, a sign of the high civilisation that’s embodied within Muslims; that we stand up brave and honourable when we are fought!
Understand this: who Prophet Muhammad is to us Muslims – as revealed and taught to us by the Holy Quran and prophetic narrations – is nothing like any of you non-Muslims could possibly understand. Prophet Muhammad is not God, for there is no God but Allah. Yet, we Muslims love, respect and adore Prophet Muhammad sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam more than we love, respect and adore our friends, ourselves or even our parents. I can mention at least three reasons for that to happen. One: because it is a pre-requisite for the perfectness of our faith. One who has yet to attain true love for the prophet, is not yet a true believer (a believer, nonetheless). Two: because the Prophet has done more for us Muslims (and even for humankind in general) than anybody ever has. Three: most importantly, Prophet Muhammad sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, is the Best (in stature, and in nature) of God’s creations. Prophet Muhammad transcends the stature of the highest of angels, and Prophet Muhammad is the one most loved by Allah. No other creation stands higher or even near to the station of Prophet Muhammad in God’s Kingdom.
Therefore, when someone makes an immature act, insulting the Prophet who we hold so dearly to our hearts and our souls, it is only natural that we feel extremely offended. What’s even more offending is that everything that are shown about the Prophet in that video are lies and fabricated stories regarding the beloved Prophet. In fact, what’s being shown is the opposite, the negation, the impossible character of the Prophet. It shows very clearly that the makers of the video have not the slightest idea and knowledge about who the Prophet really is. Most probably, it is because of their experience in their religion; so much that they are unable to understand the divine nature of the Prophet and the religion that he preaches. Prophet Muhammad is a man but he is unlike any other man, his character is above par excellence, so exalted that he even exceeds the angels. His words and actions are all revelation from God. The Holy Quran is neither his writing nor is it the fabrication of any human being; it is a divine revelation, God’s words which are entrusted upon him to spread and teach, in which he excels at doing. He is the perfect man, a gift from God to mankind. He is the supreme example from which men learn from in order to attain a perfect life. Mankind will reach a state of chaos when they are far from emulating Prophet Muhammad sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam.
It is mentioned in the Holy Quran, in a verse which is more or less translated as:
“Nay, verily for you is a Reward unfailing; and you stand on an exalted standard of character.” (al Qalam, 3-4)
And in another verse;
“You have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a quintessential example for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.” (al Ahzab, 21)
The production of that video from ‘the imbecile’ is something the Western world should be regretting. In a time when Islam and Western worlds are moving towards developing better understanding and mutual respect in order to co-exist in a peaceful world, again something comes up from the Western world challenging the formula of peace that we are trying to create.
Peace and blessings be upon the Holy Prophet, Muhammad sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam.
